Demonstration of KMail running in Kontact.  Demonstrated PGP e-mail.  Shows how you can set different spellchecking dictionaries for different identities e.g. English for KDE, German for other.  Shows disconnected IMAP which syncronises local and remote e-mail.  A recent commit makes KMail use KWallet to store its passwords.  You can use an external program for signatures.  Spam filtering is integrated and lets you redirect spam to a folder where it can be automatically deleted after a certain time.
