Umbrello UML Modeller

University of Stirling, 31Z7, Computing Science Honours Project (Dissertation)

In 2002/2003 I worked on Umbrello UML Modeller as my honours project. Umbrello lets you draw diagrams of software. Half the project was about the technical work of making it a bug free and feature filled program; the other half was about being in charge of an openly developed project with developers from all over the world. Umbrello is Free Software, which means anyone can share, sell and modify it. It was quite a succesful project and Umbrello is now part of KDE, the most popular desktop for Unix operating systems so Umbrello will soon be distributed with most GNU/Linux distributions.
